I was flabberghasted when I saw this video on YouTube, only to go on to find that this isn't an isolated case. There's loads more where this came from!
The PS22 Chorus of Staten Island, USA, are a choir of 70 school children who effectively do renditions of the sorts of songs you'd least expect them to. Case in point is shown in the video below:
The PS22 Chorus sing "Carbon" by Tori Amos
You can see clips of them on their blog doing performing songs by U2, Culture Club, Cyndi Lauper, and a LOAD more Tori Amos songs (I think their teacher is a huge fan). Wish I had a music teacher that thought outside the box when I was in school!

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip
One of the most bizarre names in music at the moment, but that don't mean a thing. Producer Dan Le Sac and poet Scroobius Pip are taking over the airwaves at the moment with all manner of radio DJ's getting behind "Thou Shalt Always Kill". Sounds odd, but give it a go.
It's a great tune and if you haven't heard it by now check the video below.
I agree with 99% of what this man says.

Like Minded People iMix #1
I like, totally did an iMix!
It's available from the iTunes store by clicking here.
It contains a load of stuff I'm into, some stuff I've blogged about, and generally good music (in my humble opinion). Check it out, buy stuff if you like it, or grab the whole thing. I did try to put it in a good listening order from start to finish to ensure maximum listening pleasure.
Comments and feedback always welcome! Keep an eye out for more iMixes in the future, maybe some freebie downloads, and all being well a big announcement coming soon!

Tori Amos - Big Wheel Video
The video for Tori's new single "Big Wheel" is out and about. Loving the song. Video's a nice cheap one, but does the job. Someone saved a few bob on that one!
Another great song from the album has been leaked as well - "Bouncing Off Clouds". You can check that out on the Hype Machine player by clicking here.
Not sure I really get the MILF bit, but think the song's ace, and am even more looking forward to the "American Doll Posse" album now.

Motor - Bleep # 1
Stunning video, and great bleepy (does what it says on the tin) electro-influenced tune from Motor.
This is the first track to be taken from their new album "Unhuman". If you like things bleepy, acidic and slightly random, be sure to check them out.

Quick Future Funk Squad Blog
At long last, Future Funk Squad rightfully get one of their tracks used in a TV show!
Taken from the debut album "Audio Damage", the excellent song "Deep Inside" featured in a scene in last night's CSI episode Big Shots. The song features the vocal talents of Gemma Ticehurst, sometime collaborator with Bizarre Groove.
Check out the clip here, at least until it has to be taken down ;)
I'm really pleased to finally see FFS' music used on a TV show as I've always felt that it was perfect soundtrack music. About time too, and here's to more of it!
Check out the latest on Future Funk Squad on their myspace page: www.myspace.com/futurefunksquad.
